1958 / 64FT McKay – Cormack$144,448.00
1957 Carvel Planked Wooden pleasure craft is an ex RCMP patrol vessel that has been professionally built by McKay – Cormack shipyards in Victoria B.C. It has a raked stem, rounded bilges to a long keel and curved transom. There is a foredeck with anchor locker and windlass, followed by the wheel-house and main salon. Side decks lead aft to a lazarette deck at the stern and access to a large rudder steering compartment. Two single berths forward located in the foc’sle and aft of the foc’sle is an enclosed head with a shower followed by a double berth to port with laundry facilities to starboard. Stairs lead up to the wheelhouse and aft of the wheelhouse is the galley, salon with dining/lounge. The galley has large double stainless steel sinks. Pressurized hot and cold water. Moffat 4 burner LPG with oven and a Danby 8 cu. ft. freezer in the laundry room. A single door leading aft to the outside deck and stairs to starboard lead down to the aft cabin with an enclosed head/shower. The cabin is trimmed with mahogany and this vessel can sleep 6-10 people comfortably. Powered by a V-12 Cummins diesel engine that has been rebuilt. Albion Sedan style power cruiser with command bridge built to heavy pleasure craft standards in 1986 by Albion Boat Works in Canada. Cabin features a forward stateroom with v-berth, a galley with cooktop, sink and refrigerator, salon / dinette with sette and table. An enclosed head with sink, toilet and separate shower stall. Helm located on the stbd side forward with a bridge console up top. Removable hatches in the cabin sole provide access to the engine and adjacent machinery spaces. Outside features are an open cockpit aft as well up top space above the housing for the tender, kayaks, just about any kind of on water activity equipment. A highly recommended live aboard platform or an invested rugged B & B over night stay.
